The 2017 ArtSHINE Internships are project based and require all applicants to demonstrate how participation in this program will provide meaningful practical experience in their chosen career, discipline, and/or related fields of study.
Internships are open to students currently enrolled in undergraduate, or postgraduate studies at an Australian University in an appropriate field. Internships are offered for one academic year, commencing in February 2017 and concluding in November 2017. This internship program offers real world industry experience for a specified (and limited) period of time as mutually agreed.

Projects will be conducted under appropriate supervision and may include, but not be limited to:
To be successful in your application you will provide a project outline demonstrating a valuable learning opportunity based upon a real world application of your studies. Applications including letters of support from course supervisors or career counsellors will be viewed favourably.
These are unpaid internships. As such they do not replace any existing job role, nor will any Intern be requested to undertake any day to day operational duties that would be otherwise undertaken by a paid employee.
* As an EEO enterprise we encourage applications from a diverse range of applicants. We always welcome applications from people who identify as sexuality, sex and/or gender diverse, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and people differently abled.
We are happy to discuss funding options where financial and material support may be required for an Intern to successfully complete their proposed project with us.
